Solar test rigg (12 images)

During my first term paper “Design and assembling of an experimental solar thermal test rig - Dimensioning and simulation“, Marcus Lehmann and I constructed in a team project a low-cost solar thermal test rigg at the Bavarian Center for Applied Energy Research (ZAE Bayern). The supervisor was Dr.-Ing Frank Buttinger.

This test rigg is used for the university laboratory Renewable Energies by the Institute for Energy Systems of the Technical University of Munich in order to show the function of a solar thermal collector to students.
